Receptions
Cocktails Approximately 1 Hour | Music for your cocktail hour is chosen to enhance the mood of your event and not meant to be the centerpiece of your big day. The volume of music is very important, therefore most clients will choose lighter music such as instrumental pieces or adult contemporary artists.
Formalities Approximately 30 Minutes | This consists of introductions, formal dances, blessings, toasts, bouquet toss, and cake cutting (if applicable). The formalities will be interspersed throughout the evening starting at the end of cocktail hour and throughout dinner to open dancing to create the perfect flow for your evening.
Dinner Approximately 1 Hour | Music for dinner can vary based on your taste. The selections can range from classic artists like Frank Sinatra all the way to today’s mainstream artists. Many of our clients choose music they enjoy but do not think their guests will dance to later on in the evening. This is a great time to be creative and add a special touch by choosing songs that have special meaning for you and your guests.
Open Dancing Approximately 2 Hours 30 Minutes | At an average of 3-4 minutes per song, this translates into pleasing guests from over 5 decades with enough time to play approximately 35-50 songs. This can only be achieved by a true professional! Our skilled DJ’s have the proper experience to effectively read the crowd and coordinate all festivities with confidence. |
